Programming
Our Signature Programming highlights the many talented and artistic educators on staff at UASP. Through these specialized programs and clubs, our teachers utilize their varied talents to bring creative and fun experiences to our students everyday.
These programs are “Signature” because they are unique and one of a kind, just like our amazing teachers and students! Check out some of our Signature Programs from previous year!
Performing Arts
UASP has a strong tradition of producing fun and hands on theater, through special clubs and productions. In 2022 UASP produced and performed it's first musical, Annie JR, with 21 amazing students. This past May our musical theater program grew to over 40 students, and our production of Matilda Jr moved to the stage at Bigelow Middle School. With the help of our amazing parent volunteers, who assisted in ticket sales, marketing, sets, costumes and much more, it was a magical experience for our students!
Throughout the year, our teachers also run improv, dance, voice, puppetry, and acting classes via four to six week long clubs.
Theater and Performing Arts clubs are offered at no extra cost to parents.

BLUE HILLS Ski Club
On Wednesdays in January and February, UASP takes a group of students to Blue Hills for Ski Lessons, and a day on the slopes! Students in grades 3-5th have the opportunity to take lessons, and further their skills. Extra fee required.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club takes our 4th and 5th grade students on field trips around Newton and Boston on Wednesdays in the Spring. Past field trips have included Boda Borg Escape Rooms, hiking Blue Hills and nearby trails, meeting the Mayor, a tour of local historic sites, and kayaking on the Charles River.
