Katie Keith (Executive Director)

Katie Keith has been the director of UASP since 2018, and has worked in childcare for over 10 years. She currently serves as co-president of the Newton After School Association and is on the Newton Community Ed. Commission. Some of Ms. Katie's favorite activities at UASP include climbing up the structure (with helpful tips from the Kindergarteners), and playing capture the flag.

Sarah Morin has been the UASP Program Manager since 2018, and has also worked with Underwood Elementary as a Math Interventionist. She loves planning big events for UASP. Outside of UASP she is an actor and theater educator. She can often be heard singing with the Kindergarten class, or trying to get the older kids to tap dance with her.

Ms. D is a recent college grad and a new Newton resident. She has worked in schools, summer camps, and after-school programs for the past few years, and had a blast doing so! Ms. D loves to make art, including painting, sketching, clay-making and collages. She also loves cartoons, anime and videogames.

Ms. G has been a part of UASP since 2013, and also worked for Underwood School as a Behavioral Therapist for almost eight years. Currently she works for the STRIDE Program at Cabot school as an ABA therapist. She is so happy to be back at UASP! Ms. G loves dogs, and during her free time she likes to dog sit at her house.

Ms.Jodi has worked in after school programs for over 15 years in San Francisco and Massachusetts. She loves creative activities, such as painting, clay building, and 3-D paper projects. In her downtime Ms. Jodi likes making and writing music, and gardening.

Ms. Diane has been with UASP and Underwood for several years and is wonderful member of the school community. She loves doing arts and crafts, taking care of her grand puppies and gardening.

Yole Magloire (2nd/ 3rd Grade)

Ms. M is childcare professional with over 12 years of experience. She loves the variety of activities she gets to do with her students, including art, gym and cooking. She also loves crossword puzzles, puzzle games, and listening to music.

Emilija Baksys (2/3rd Grade)

Ms. Emilija (Like Amelia Bedelia) is so excited to be working with UASP this year. She has worked with children at the North Cambridge Family Opera, the Boston Museum of Science, and the Boston Symphony. She loves hiking, kayaking, nature, music, photography, theater arts and traveling.

Ms. Savannah recently moved to Boston from Tennessee where she got her degree in History and Secondary Education from Tennessee Wesleyan. She loves working with after school programs and has several years of experience working with the after school program at her local YMCA. She loves movies, tv and reading.

Julia has been working with kids in a variety of different setting since graduating college. As an artist herself, she especially enjoys teaching art. She like to teach kids about artists and art history as well as teaching them news ways of working with materials and seeing the world.

Liz Young (Creative Arts)

Liz Young (Creative Arts)

Liz is an artist and educator from Quincy. They have experience with art education from their time with Needham Extended Day Program, Boston Children’s Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts.
