Sewing Stuffed Animals

$200 + $10 Registration Fee
Come join us and make your very own stuffed animal to take home with you! Students can choose from multiple available patterns that resemble popular styles currently found in stores. We will teach students how to work from a pattern, how to use the sewing machine and sew by hand, and other sewing tips as needed to create the animal that they choose. This class will cater to both beginners and more experienced sewers; we will provide support as needed. All students will complete at least one animal; more advanced students may create more than one if time allows.

Be a part of the behind-the-scenes coordination for a theater production! Twice a year, the Underwood After School Program puts on a play, and this year our middle school Makers’ Corner program will be assisting with the creation of props, costumes, and backdrops. If you are excited about designing and making sets, sewing and assembling costumes, and making props that look great on stage, this is the club for you! Club includes the final performance date of May 9th (4:00 & 6:30 PM shows).

Build Your Own Infinity Light Table​

Make your own infinity table, a very cool addition to your room! Using an IKEA LACK side table, we will cut it up and add to it to create the illusion of an infinite mirrored light tunnel. Students can pick from a white or black table, and can further customize their final creation with provided supplies.
